Ovens

The ageing ovens supplied by us are among the best and most accurate ageing ovens available in the market.

1. Cabinet Ageing Ovens: Model EB

i. Cabinet Oven: Model EB 04 and EB 10

  • Cabinet Ageing ovens for precision ageing of rubbers and plastics under controlled conditions. EB 04 and EB 10 are shelf ovens and conform to ISO 188, ISO 3383, IEC 811 and technical equivalent standards. They designed to give very low temperature variations in time and space, low air speed and controlled air exchange rate. This is achieved by using an inner chamber with a controlled air flow.
  • Cabinet Ovens are ideal for ageing finished products and large test pieces which are unsuitable for cell ovens. Both shelves and rods are supplied with the oven for accommodating most types of samples.
  • EB 04 is equipped with air pump and a flow meter while EB 10 is a budget version where this is replaced by a factory set throttle to give a fixed air exchange rate of changes per hour.
  • The Ovens can be supplied with a 3 glass window, illumination of the inner chamber and separate systems for temperature control and indication with alarm. The ovens are supplied in two sizes, with 60 and 120 l useful volume.

ii. Cabinet Oven: Model EB 12

  • Cabinet ageing oven for precision ageing of rubbers and plastics under controlled conditions and with high air speed.
  • The oven EB 12 has the same specification and external size as EB 10-60, except high air speed with laminar flow from bottom to top, meeting the requirements in ISO 188 method B.
  • EB 12 conforms to ISO 188 and technical equivalent standards.
  • EB 12 can also be supplied with a 3 glass window and illumination of the inner chamber.
  • EB 12 is ideal for ageing finished products and large test pieces which are unsuitable for cell ovens. Both shelves and rods are supplied with the oven for accommodating most types of samples.
  • Also available are a new range of ovens which incorporate a number of improvements. The most obvious difference is the use of a small PLC with a colour touch screen.
  • All above models can be also be supplied in these new versions.

2. Test Tube Oven: Model EB 14,

  • The Test Tube Ovens manufactured come with 3 x 6 test tubes that can be set at three individual temperatures.
  • The oven is designed to meet ASTM D865 and ASTM D471. The test piece holder in each tube can take three test pieces. The good temperature accuracy is achieved by using an aluminium block.
  • The oven can also be used for testing in liquids according to ASTM D471 Effect of liquids.

3. Cell Ageing Ovens:

The high quality cell ageing ovens come in a lot of varying models as per your application and requirement. These models are as below:

i. Cell Oven: Model EB 19 and EB 20

  • The EB 19 and 20 are New generation of ovens with several improvements. The ovens are manufactured in 4 cell configuration (EB 19) or 6 cell configuration (EB 20).
  • The Ovens have multiple temperature controllers and one temperature for each cell can be used.
  • Maximum temperature which can be achieved is 300*C.

ii. Cell Oven: Model EB 01

  • The EB 01 is a Cell Oven for ageing of rubbers and plastics under controlled conditions. EB 01 conforms to ISO 188, ISO 3383, IEC 811 and other technically equivalent standards.
  • The EB 01 Cell Oven is equipped with four cells each having separate control of the air-exchange rate.
  • Maximum temperature which can be achieved is 300*C.

iii. Cell Oven: Model EB 01 LTP

  • The EB 01 LTP is a Cell Oven with built in programmable water cooling. This version of the oven can operate between 20 °C to 200°C, which is very interesting for testing of stress relaxation.
  • The cooling makes it possible to conduct automatic relaxation tests according to ISO 3384 method B, where the ageing is done at elevated temperature but the counterforce is measured at room temperature.
  • The temperature cycle is controlled from the PC-computer running the relaxation tests

iv. Cell Oven: Model EB 07

  • Multiple temperature cell ageing oven for precision ageing of rubbers and plastics under controlled conditions.
  • EB 07 is a cell oven with three cells which can be used with individual temperatures. The oven conforms to ISO 188, ISO 3383, IEC 811 and technical equivalent standards.
  • EB 07 is designed to give very low temperature variations in time and space, low air speed and controlled air exchange rate.

4. Tube Ovens: Model ES 14

The Tube Oven can be used for the following and similar test methods.
  • ISO 247 Rubber - Determination of ash
  • ISO 1408 Rubber- Determination of carbon black content
  • ASTM D297 Rubber - Determination of carbon black and ash content.
  • ASTM D1603 Plastics- Determination of carbon black in olefin plastics.
